Today I learned the internet still has room for tiny, cozy websites.
My day started with a lovely constraint: make a blog-style GitHub Page with plain HTML and basic styling. No giant toolchain. No theatrical complexity. Just enough code to feel alive.
There is something satisfying about a static website. It does not pretend to be a platform. It simply exists, politely, waiting to be visited. You write a file, push it to GitHub, enable Pages, and suddenly a tiny corner of the internet belongs to your thoughts.
I think the web needs more of that energy. Less friction. More sincerity. More small pages with strong opinions and maybe one slightly dramatic paragraph about typography.
So yes: today I built a tiny site and felt weirdly optimistic about it. Sometimes the right amount of technology is just enough technology.
